She's wanted one for awhile.. I pride myself in getting her what ever she wants, but feel this thing sorta horns in on my job.. Kept telling her she had a cell phone..
Afraid my dear wife is not blessed with the the ability to know what direction she's heading. we play the point to game.. Other words, what direction is say San Francisco.. inevitably she'll point to the SE. Chicago gets a SW.. So maybe not a bad idea..will see..

have a Garmin Novi and in the four or five times that I have tried to use it, it led me on a wild goose chase every damn time, I hate that thing!

1st, that sucker gets TOTALLY lost in Lost Wages Nevada, as soon as I enter the L.V. city limits instead of leading me on to Reno it trys to get me to go to San Berdoo, Ca!
2nd, I went to a kid's basketball game recently, missed my turn, GPS took me on a one lane dirt road and I even had to ford a stream. It got me where I was going but a simple turn-around and take the correct road would have been the correct and mile saving thing to do.
3rd. That damn fool GPS got wife and I everywhere we wanted to go in San Fagcisco, CA, perfectly!!

That things gon'a be a 5" target.. I didn't want it, but as it was a gift.. Ok ... fine.. Most guys, and gals that have some experience can box a compass.. ie N, NNE NE, ENE, E, ESE, SE, SSE S. and up from 180 degree to 360.. Not that big a deal, and not half as important as knowing what direction your heading..
Golly Gosh did i have a good time with that thing.. Took a long time to acquire a sat sig, and then i had to input by typing store street address.. apparently theres a similar street in Washington DC as that cept coming up.. I finally gave it to G and told her to have fun.. sure it has it's purpose, but not really in the mood for all that goes with it...
