1911

I'm sure you're all wondering if I'm actually going to buy a new gun soon since I keep asking about different guns. Never-the-less I think these topics are fun. I'm just curious as to what kind of 1911 you all recommend. I recently looked at the Kimber SIS 1911 and also one of the Smith & Wesson ones. thanks in advance

Current too

I believe it's currently used as well. I know for sure that a lot of law enforcement agencies still use them.

Taurus 1911

I agree with EBear, I think the Taurus 1911 is very well worth looking into.

Kimber

If you want a 1911 that performs well and looks nice I think that a Kimber would be worth every cent. They got a lot of models too depending on what you want.
