1911 Commercial Govt.
I have obtained a 1911 Commercial Govt. with a serial # C134,xxx I was wondering if someone could tell me what year it was made? I am guessing around 1922. It has custom grips and sights put on it. Anyone know what the value would be? |

Check the blue book of gun values. It will have all the info that you need. Look under the manufacture, model # and caliber and any other markings that it might have. You can buy them at most gun stores or sporting stores.

Okay, I have seen many 1911's come across my bench, some with good custom work and some that are so bad that I considered them to be junk. The value will be based on the basic gun and if there has been any custom work, the quality of that work. So not an easy question to answer.
