One of the things that I like about the 1911 that is not mentioned much is the straight pull trigger. I love it. It feels more natural and controllable to me. With VERY few exceptions, no other pistols have this type of trigger. Almost all have a conventional lever-type trigger.
I may be wrong, but it seems to me that this type of triggers lends itself more to accuracy as the shooter is less likely to pull the barrel out of aim on firing.
Any thoughts on this?
