And a trigger job taking the pull from 7 to 4 pounds.
I tried it out at the indoor range, that did not work out so well, have to use my backyard range.
smoke. The indoor range uses florescent lighting. Now that the winds are calming here (finally!) I'll get out to my back yard, set up a target and see how it works.
Hey, when I can't hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle any excuse is better than none LOL!
Yea. I have been to some indoor ranges where the lighting is horrible and there is no real ventilation fans!
I've not set up a target and tried it here yet. No excuses, just lazy. I'm sure it would be on the mark, the gunsmith sighted it in at 25yds.
I did get a dime store Tasco scope mounted on my Western Field .22 single shot and sighted it in at 50yds. 1" group, not bad for a scope/gun combination which together is not worth $25
Try thinking about it in a different (light) pun intended. I get it that you want to try out your new site but practicing in bad conditions could do a lot for your abilities. And no I don't own a gun range with bad lighting.
Yes, I get your point about practicing in other than optimum conditions. I enjoy busting armadillos at night, fully dark. The SIG P232 does a splendid job. Nothing is safe around here day or night LOL!!
Have been in a lot and some are just bad.Was at one where all the ply wood in front of the ceiling lights were full of bullet holes all the way down range.
Lighting is never great it seems to me.................
want to make the place I would always want to shoot. General comfort while shooting, outdoors always works better for me. Not everyone else, me.
