Glock 19 vs glock 23

What does everyone think of the Glock 19 which is the compact glock that fires 9mm ammunition VS the glock 23 which is also a compact but it fires .40.

Originally I had my heart set on a glock 23, but I heard it had some "kaboom" problems, meaning it could explode if you used ammunition reloads. Anyone know if there is any truth in this?

go w the 23. more stopping power. there kaboom problems with any firearm when shooting poor reloads, not the g23 in particular. either be careful with reloads or buy munufactured ammo

Glock In General

Glocks, or any other polymer framed pistol for that matter, are not made to shoot reloaded ammuntion. If you read the Glock manual is says that reloads should not ever be fired from the pistol due to the very reason that it could crack or even explode in your hand, meaning that Mr. Gaston will be facing a lawsuit.
