CMMG makes a pretty solid one.

Something to consider about shooting .22 down your 1 in 9 twist AR barrel.

You are shooting Lead, Copper wash in most cases, but it is still lead. If can seriously mess up your barrel if you do not keep on top of cleaning it, build up can cause issues with chambering 223/556 and actually cause FTF/FTE's while also possibly causing the bullet to be pushed back into the case further than allowed and over pressure the chamber. If it happens a few times it might not cause any issues, who is to say, but it is kind of like dropping a lit M80 and picking it back up and throwing it, sooner of later you are probably going to have one go boom in your hand so why do it?

Just make sure you clean it after every use and use a Bore/Chamber brush with a good lead solvent...

For about the same price as the conversion kit you can get one of the .22 caliber AR-15 copies by almost any manaufacturer. I've seen some that we're amazing to look at, looked just like the real AR, and not badly expensive. Unless you're just looking to convert your gun, then by all means have at it, but if you want a .22 AR you might could consider going this route.
