.444 Marlin
Recently picked up- two barrels 18" (ported) and 24" for my T/C in .444 Marlin. I know it has been around since (60's ?) but the Hornady ammo looks like it put new life in it. If you have experience or an opinion, your input pls . (You have to look behind all of that outer space stuff) |

i have heard great things about this cartridge!yes, the hornady ammo really wakes it up.i know of a shop here in washington that will rebore and chamber a .303 short magazine lee enfield rifle to this cartridge.even the enfield mags will work.i am looking for a project no.1 mk 4 to build one of these on.let me know how you like the cartridge!

I think I've only seen (on-line)a couple of .444 Marlin bolt-action
rifles being sold. I'll shoot some (expensive) and let you know. The little
18" barrel should get my adrenalin flowing. I'll feed back.
