what is a good gun in .45acp that carries about 12 rounds and has relatively cheap magazines????

the witness .45 i think is a good one with 10 shot mags. i'm not sure of the price on them. i believe Tangfolio is the importer. i had one and the only problem was a rear site that was too low. i sent the slide back and they replaced it for free.

I like 1911's but you're not gonna find the mag cap you're looking for. Look into a g21sf or XD

I agree with Reaper, for what it sounds like your looking for, a glock 21 or XD would probably fit the bill.

The Taurus 845 has a 12 round mag and the extra mags are $45 a mag.

It has a 12 rd capacity and is supposed to be a very accurate gun. I am debating whether I should get one. Ammo price is ridiculous compared to 9mm, but I'd really like to shoot one.
