as reliable and accurate as any gun ever made but
not made anymore so I guess youre stuck with
buying a Glock

about unusual weapons etc?

Sprinfeild XD in .45ACP. I holds 13 in the mag and 1 in the pipe. The recoil is next to nothing and it shoots awesome.It eats any ammo I try and feed it without any issues.

Hows it been ?

I have just been trying to get used to the Communists states of America idea that the fuds seam to want so bad.

i am partial to my AMT Hard Baller 7 inch longslide stainless with 8 round mags and 1 in the pipe!

Para Ordnance was the first to make wide frame, high capacity 1911's in .45 ACP, and they're still offered. Excellent quality. Ruger has some relatively high capacity .45 ACP models. STI has some high-cap models of their modified 1911 designs. For tons of money, I believe that Wilson is now offering high-cap models of their 1911's. There are undoubtedly others, but those are the ones I can remember offhand.

Come on raffy. I told you I don't hate Glocks. Clearly they are one of the most dependable handguns on the market. I don't have one yet. I was doing my research and the 23 is the one I would buy. My cousin has 3 or 4. The one I don't like is the subcompact 40 cal. There is no place to put half my damn fingers, because of my meat hooks.lol With so many of them out there and so many agencies that use them, they can't be wrong.

i hate the glock 27 lol, i do have a glock 23 and dont think of me as a salesman when i say this but it will pay for itself, it is a perfect size for both power and concealment and accuracy is well above awesome lol.

The salesman thing was a compliment you bonehead! Most everyone I know that shoots has a Glock. I don't have one and have only sent a few rounds using someone elses. So I haven't learned to appreciate them as you have but I will!

i have heard you cant shoot lead rounds in a clock any more causes leading screws up the barrel some how because of the way its made doesnt make sence to me but ya never know i havent checked in to this just what i heard is all not a fact that i know of and my opinon on a 45 is a good 1911 tried and true tested all over the world for all most a 100 years and there are good 1911 clones like the fire storm and bersa i own these 2 and i like them both i CC most start around 400 bucks and up a depends on how deep ya want to dig in your pockets a few guys at the gun club have a few and i have 2
we all are happy with them i dont shoot my gold cup all the time but i like the 45

1. Many guns in .45acp, notably various designs from Glock, Kimber, Colt, SIG, & Springfield Armory meet various accuracy requirements from specialized police and military end-users. Unless you're looking for a very specific target accuracy requirement, any of the above should be more accurate than the shooter if fed proper ammo. Wilson, SVI, and others also make high-cap .45s, but makor $$$.

2.You might also consider the .45GAP (Glock)......45 bullet, with good target and social ammo from Speer and Winchester. Smaller frame than the Glock 21/30 series; growing use in some large LE agencies.

You're not supposed to, because the rifling in Glock barrels is different than most other barrels, and lead bullets leave more fouling in Glocks. I used to shoot lead bullets through my Glock 22, but I ran a bore brush through it every few magazines at the range to be safe.

thats what i heard too run also heard it embeds in the barrels some how but i havent read any thing yet if so to me why have a gun that this may cause a problem in incase cast is all your going to have whitch maybe with things going like they are and in my opinon in my own common sence of thinking i d get some thing that works not matter what ammo you have there again the good old 1911 and it was made for lead ball ammo and been used for a 100 years some thing to be said about that alone

I think I'll buy a different gun since all my self defense ammo is cast lead bullets.

according to Glock (I've called them directly before about this), if the bullets aren't jacketed, their polygonal rifling will cause more fouling than most standard barrels. It will build up over time. They don't recommend shooting lead at all. They also don't recommend re-loading (as most gun companies don't) which is what the majority of cast lead bullets are. I've personally shot cast rounds out of my Glock 20 with no problem, but I always clean out the bbl really good afterwards with a little windex on a patch. Then I've found that S&W heavy bore cleaner removes lead pretty well. I did end up buying a Lone Wolf bbl strictly for lead rounds now so I don't have to worry about it. The 20 is the only Glock that I shoot lead through. Jacketed rounds in the others

if ya have to buy respect it aint worth havin lol i allways shoot about 2 to 300 rounds of jacketed in a new gun to clean out any burs that maybe in them and after the end of the day i shoot a few to clean out any lead that maybe in it dont know if it works on cleaning lead out but thats what the old guys told me to do up at camp perry when i was a kid but grandfathers and thier friends would never B S a kid lol
