Was thinking about shooting my bow for about 30 mins. But decided against it. Too damn humid!!
catfish88
Oh yea. I saw your pic, you're deadly with a bow! It's like an oven here. You get sticky by just walking outside.
ACE
I get sticky even thinkin about walking outside!! LOL
catfish88
ACE, OMG, you are just asking for it by posting "I get sticky even thinking" on here. Ha ha ha.
ACE
I was gonna say "I got wet", But I knew that one would totally get a handful of comments!!!
catfish88
ACE, your gonna get comments no matter how you word it. Obviously Ebear isn't on or this would have already been hijacked. So, what kind of bow rig you got??
ACE
I have a Parker Challenger II. Im not gonna go into my draw weight, cause I can pull more, But had to lower it after my wreck. With a 10 lb. hold. My carbon arrows still travel @ 220 mph, and they get the job done. And I have learned that there are a lot of horney old geezers on here. Thats ok. I grew up around a lot of them, having to B @ the VA with my Dad so much!!! So bring it on!!!!
catfish88
ACE Well, sounds like a nice set up. 220mph?? I don't think I can out run that, so I better be nice to you.
ACE
And yes, you had better be nice!!!!
catfish88
Oh ACE, I couldn't possible be mean to you. Especially now that I know you shoot so well.
ACE
And also knowing what I use as a mental target!!! LOL
catfish88
ACE, that's true. And if you ever do get mad at me, I'd much rather you shoot at me with the bow rather than your .270.
ACE
I could never shoot any of ya'll!!! Then who would I talk to all night???? Or who would answer my "insane reason to know everything" questions??
catfish88
ACE, you say the sweetest things! You smooth talker you!
ACE
I was on here like 30 mins last night asking insane Q's about the difference between 2 guns. I was just like the energizer bunny, just goin and goin, till I finally said to hell w it and called Greasy. It was 3 am my time and 1:00 for him, But he answered me. THANK GOD for GREASY!!! Thats what I ment about the all the Q's I ask. I just have this part of me that wants to know everything I can about certain things. Guns just happen to be one of those things.... LOL
catfish88
Yea ACE, and that's why we love ya.
HampsterW
I have a Bear Charge with a 70# draw, it shoots @300 feet per second and is as accurate as the shooter, here is a pic of it with my other shit after an outing on my younger boy's B-day below, I hear ya' ACE, shooting a bow is a workout, more so if you have been injured.

catfish88
Hamp, that's nice. What kind of AK is that?? Nice paint job, did you do it yourself?
HampsterW
Century arms stamped receiver piece, just your basic AK-47, I love that rifle as it will shoot any ammo, full of mud, dirt, wet, it doesn't care. I have never in the years that I have owned it had a FTF, FTE or any other malfunction......Yep, that there is a Krylon tune up.....Be carefull setting it down where I shoot, you might not find it again...lol!
catfish88
Pretty cool Hamp, nice paint job too.
ACE
I checked out that site U told me about. It was funny!!
ACE
And I totally think they should go back to only allowing a crossbow to be used for certified handicap'd people. Almost anybody can pick up a gun and shoot it, and possibly do decent @ it, with not a lot of knowledge of the weapon, the same for a crossbow. But I love the mental challenge you have with shooting a plain jane compound bow. No one can just pick it up and do decent with it the first time. Its more of a sport, and I LOVE IT!!!!
HKBauer
I shot a recurve bow and it was tough! I missed the target most of the time. If I didnt have the target in sight right a way I was done. I would start shaking and it was over.
HampsterW
a lot different and less accurate than compounds, obviously since compounds have the peep and a sight instead of aiming down the arrow and the 'hold' poundage is much less...They are a bitch to pull back but at full draw, I can hold it all day long, you ought to try one some time (it's better if they are set up for your stature).....Anyhoo, I can shoot a bow in my backyard and it's legal, unlike guns.
HampsterW
shooting a compound takes a lot more concentration....and physical ability as well!
Reaper308
is driving around a school zone in a van with no windows
HampsterW
"free candy" on the side....lol
Reaper308
yup, all set up with video cameras and a dicso ball.... and an extra smeduim blackhawks jersey
photobear6
