AIMPOINT MICRO T-1

I just purchased this optics unit and a forend grip for my stag...of course, I won't be able to use it until I get home...anybody else have an opinion on the Aimpoint? I based my purchase on reviews on other websites, a friend's knowledge and a few other opinions.

I have an Aimpoint

I had an EO Tech 552 on my Bushmaster, and the EO Tech is the fastest sight on target I have ever used. I have used Aimpoint, EO tech, ACOG, and some toying around with the MARS sights. The problem with the EO Tech is that it has an automatic shutoff after eight hours to conserve battery life. this is not bad if you are just fartig around and plinking and whatnot, but I keep my Bushmaster for home defense, so having to turn it on before I go to bed and hoping that any break in that occurs does so within eight hours was not good. I bought an Aimpoint Comp M3 with GG&G cantilever mount from a coworker for 400 bucks and it's great. The Comp M2 is the original M68 CCO use by the military and they've since started switching t the Comp M4, battery life on the M3 that I have is just under 5 years constant on at medium setting, although I change every 3 months just to be safe. the sights are very rugged, very fast on target, and well worth the money. I have never used the Micro T1, but Aimpoint is a good company and i can't imagine it being too bad.

Yeah,

Good reviews on it and battery life is outstanding at Over 5 years of continuous (day and night) use at pos 8 of 12. I will do a review on it, the, guns I bought and anything I order prior to returning home...

I have only used the M4... it was pretty good. I prefer acog's, but they both work great. I'm sure the micro t-1 will be good quality.
