May you always be overwhelmed by the Grace of God. Alabama Judge Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall. Please read the poem he wrote. It's below his picture. The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama . Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well. America? the beautiful, Babies piled in dumpsters, Our children wander aimlessly From sea to shining sea, We've kept God in our We've voted in a government Too soft to place a killer You think that God's not angry, that our land's a moral slum? How are we to face our God, If we who are His children, Then God will hear from Heaven; But, America the Beautiful, This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the Beautiful. Pass this on and let's lift Judge Moore up in Prayer. He has stood firm and needs our support. IN GOD WE TRUST |

We have a lot of newer' members.. Lot of old timers who are spending more time and putting up more posts.. Theirs no way i can single one or two people out, but i don't think life's ever been better on Gunslot.. i watched Reap guide HD thru gun issues yesterday.. enjoyed the read and info.. Sam (and all of you guys) humorous posts... ALL my senior bud's wisdom, and my younger bud's wise and funny thoughts.. Shit i even enjoy Pard.. But it's not just Daisy, or LLE, Lucky, Hamp, ISD, Clint, Sortatough, Lean'r, Saint, Ronin, Jay, TG, (lil)Jeff, or Nutless..
Guess what i'm trying to say (poorly) is the witt and wisdom category is maxed out. When life is NOT so grand i can come on here and be entertained by all of you.. and pretty amazing that i haven't read one post (with the possible exception of this one) that i don't enjoy, or of for some reason find entertaining..glad to know everyone of you..
No "you too" here (one or two of those o things..wheres Schuy when you need him) thats not the intent.. Pretty great to know that if i can't sleep i can come on here and have a good and thoughtful read.. pat yourself on the back my friends.. Don't know what happened on here, but its one fine place to be.. and you guys are the reason why.. Please no reference to this.. A) it's a little embarrassing B) it detracts from the sincerity.. what an amazing poem. So true, loved it. One of the best posts Ive read. Thank you for sharing...I must share it now with others ..lol Its ridiculous how horrible people are now days...cant have the 10 commandments in a courtroom? BS I say

haven't been keeping up on gunslot as much as id like to lately,so sorry i didn't get to this earlier.PSMALONE,good post man,good post.although I'm not a "christian"i think most of the ten commandments apply to us all,some may not fit our polytheistic and native/budist friends...our founders,although sometimes misguided in their religious zealotry meant well.it seems to me the founders recognized A god and reserved the right to say so when they seemingly (to some) paradoxically use the words god and creator in documents,while also adding the 1st amendment protecting peoples right to choose religion.I have copied here portions of our declaration of independence and the first amendment of the us constitution where GOD and or religion is relevant to the topic.i have CAPITALIZED and marked with double asterisks ** on either side of the word god religion or creator like so **GOD**
additionaly i have added a link to the website i copied from,and an excerpt from the site discussing the separation of church and state as well as a link to a treasury dept website and an excerpt discussing the phrase "in god we trust"

to sum up,in my own opinion there is nothing i have found,in this search or any other to indicate to me that it is somehow illegal for a judge to hang the ten commandments in his courtroom,intact i would say his rights have been violated if anyones have in regard to this issue.do i WANT them there?no,but i don't mind either so long as HIS religion dosnt interfere with the interpretation of LAW.we must be careful however, when using his PERSONAL religious rights as a reason to have the commandments hang there,this leaves room for oh say a satanic anarchist to hang his documents as well.
