Man, it's like a panic. It will be interesting to see who the on-line retailers are a year from now.

This morning I went to my favorite gun shop and bagged 10, 30 count boxes of the NATO standard 5.56mm x 45mm SS109 match rounds. They have plenty in stock, but many standard and off rounds are not available there. I still think it's interesting that practically all of the metals normally used in the construction of ammo are all way up on the metals market. I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the scarcity of many kinds of ammo. Most of the match quality rounds are available here in Texas and prices while higher are still somewhat reasonable.

It's getting harder to find in my part to. I reload most of mine, which helps, but now can't find any damn small rifle primers anywhere but online.

Killeen? Are you at Fort Hood? I'm in Dallas. The gun shops here, the good ones at least, are pretty well stocked. I am not sure but it might be worth your while to make the drive up here and check out some of the shops in Plano and Mesquite. Most rounds are available except for match quality 7.62mm x 51mm NATO Standard rounds and it's the match brass and the match steel used for the inner lining of the projectiles that is scarce and expensive on the markets so the manufacturers are having problems getting enough of the basic materials to manufacture these rounds. OTM M262s are also hard to find, but some of the shops either have a case stashed in the back or can can get one in a couple of days. OTM M262s are expensive so except to pay above top dollar for them if you need them. But the SS109s and SSG109s are plentiful.

9mm rounds come in different amounts per case depending on the type of 9mm round, the manufacturer and shipping limitations in some places concerning explosive matterials. How many rounds were in that case?

Demo...Where? If it was on the net, let me know. 220.00 is decent right now. The cheapest I had it all year was 180.00 for a case, so given the market now, 220 isn't bad at all.
