I really didn't have time to introduce myself when I joined, so her goes. Tis best if you enjoy cryptics! I am a gun enthuiest rather than a "GUN NUT"! I don't like what the latter conveys. Firearms of all types have been a part of my life since age six, and almost 6 decades later, I'm still a devotee! I have made exhaustive studies not only in the area of ballistics, but in forensic accounting/finance. Since retirement I lecture at certain Universities, and Angencies. My inital training after S.E.Asia took place in a farm like enviornment, and was extensive. Though some was a repeat of military training. I do hold a Masters, and Doctorate degrees, however, call me Doc & you home will be nuked (surgically)
Liking this site hope to meet others of like mind. I believe that the most immediate threat to the U.S. is Bam-Bam!

I embrace the term "Right wing gun nut" and all it conveys. Although I'm taking a year break from doing any real shooting thanks to the army (Isn't that messed up? I'm a soldier and I shoot more when I'm off work.), I refer to myself as a shooter. It's like being called a biker instead of a motorcycle enthusiast.
