you dont need a ffl. just walk into a gun store and buy it. mac 10's and 11's are usually around $300-400

you can get one cheap. do not know why you would want one but they a legal even here in ny

If you want a fully automatic one, you'll have to fill out all the BATFE paperwork and pay a fee (I think it's still $600, but I don't know for sure). You'll need to go through a Class 3 FFL holder to buy one. They won't be cheap.
I won't bother to ask why you might want one - it's none of my affair.

fries with that Mac-10? that's a 2 yr old post,i'm pretty sure he got one by now,shot it,realized he got hosed and traded it for a Taurus Judge
