This is not a question. It is a fact. And it seems to be the glaring truth the gun grabbers like the Brady campaign and Gun Control, Inc. don't/won't address.
With good reason. These bastards know already what their agenda is. It's not about safer streets and protecting babies. It's about controlling people and putting themselves above the people.
That's why they always avoid any discussion about liberty and civil rights and marginalize gun owners and fighters of liberty. Their nauseous repetition of "people don't need handguns, there just for killing" "why do hunters need high cap semi autos?" and similar arguments are basically distractions to gun-knowledgeable folks and propaganda to the gun-ignorant.
They constantly avoid the reality of the REAL purpose of the 2nd amendment. To have a citizen armory and for the people to have the ability to take their country back WHEN (not if) it becomes time.
So, if you meet any douchebag (especially a politician) that is convinced that there should be reasonable restrictions of weapons to the public, you look at them and ask them, "Do you believe what Lincoln said about American being a government of the people, by the people, and for the people?" And when they say yes, because they will, then you call them out for the liar they are and say that any government that believes the military and law enforcement should be more well armed than the people is trying to put itself above the people and is not a free but a tyrannical government. And if they do happen to say they don't believe Lincoln's words, knock their fucking teeth out and tell them to get out of our country!

I did

You probably didn't see it. Or maybe I thought I did and never did. My mind has gone to crap as I get older. But, yeah, I saw. The pakistani with the liquor store while you were at the barber shop. If I didn't think it was a pussy move, I'd throw a molotov cocktail through his store window. Then piss my name in his ashes.

I do believe that they are about as stupid as you can get. Probably 90 percent of them or better are the same exact people who will be wanting to run to your home for protection if things went side ways, expecting you to protect them and theirs.

Sad they would choose to live with such a warped and mistaken concept of what social norms really mean.

Some thing I've noticed over the years that has always made me wonder just how the Good People see themselves as being so good.

I mean, the people I have met in conjunction with shooting are the same people you read about running into a building that is on fire to save a stranger. They are the ones you see jumping out of the passenger side of a car at an intersection helping push someone who has broken down at the light. The ones who take the time to help without expecting, requiring or accepting anything in return for giving assistance with the thought and feeling that what goes around comes around.

Almost all of the Good People who are on that Gun Grabbing band wagon are the people who sit in their cars blaring their horns screaming out the window because someone had the audacity to actually break down and make them late.

They are the ones who stand around looking up into the windows of the blazing building screaming for someone to do something.

Most are weak individuals in more ways than one. Their weakness and fear drives them to want to make everyone else like them self so they do not have to face the fact that because of their fears and weakness they are in fact at the mercy of others who will do to them as they like at anytime.

They tend to feel they are on some kind of higher moral plain then those of who do keep our right to possess and bear arms. They think that if all guns go away all will change in the world in time. One day everyone will wake up and sing a global chorus "I'd like to give the world a Coke" followed up by a really joyous huggy feely rendition of "Kum by ya".

But thats ok...

They do not know it, or if they have heard or thought about it, they do not believe it. No matter what, there will always be some around, making sure there is at least others who are ready to step up when the time arises and do so without requiring, desiring or accepting anything in return.

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

Very well put and sadly true. I've said before that the main difference between the rift in America and, in my opinion, what distinguishes the American spirit is the whether, when confronted with an obstacle or hardship, one responds with "I need to do something" as opposed to "someone (the government) should do something".

But I stand by my assertion that people that are for gun control are against freedom. They just may or may not be aware of that fact. :)
