just a wild guess but greasy might possibly know 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 56 things about aks

you might want to get in touch with Nitris san. AKs are kind of a specialty with him. and of course, greasypaws chan and also charley 9toe chan might also be able to help you and there are a number of others. if any of these guys can't help, check back with ryo again and maybe can find you some more.

Thanks guys. Nitris, I'll have to take a week off of work to go through all that! Basically here is what I am doing. 2 typical Rommy kits & one AMD-65 kit. I plan on making the AMD into a pistol so I can use the barrel. The others will be made into rifles - a folding stock (using the AMD stock) and the other using a Tapco collapsible stock. One stuation I see is that I need a rear trunnion that has no provisions for a stock in order to make my pistol. Can I weld up the stock mounting holes in one of my rear trunnions? Will I be able to use one on my Rommy front trunnions in the nodakspud AMD-65 receiver?

Guys, I'm not stupid but this is a whole new ball game for jeff!

ryo is going to read everything on list too and ryo not even have AK to build although there is one AK that ryo would give almost anything to have, but will have to learn good how to shoot little Walther G22 bullpup that got for birthday before can move up to larger more powerful rifle, although on friday ryo did get to shoot very first 5.56mm rifle for first time. it my brother rifle, and got to shoot ten round from it and it was very much fun. but ryo love little bullpup rifle and would not trade in for nothing.

Well I already have a problem. I don't understand the post-it-note method of transferring the trunion holes to the receiver. I knew this wasn't going to be easy!
