I heard most of this bullshit excuse/reason. They DHS and all those idiots, saying the system works. No one person or entity was to blame. In the same paragraph they said "everyone is doing a stellar job". If I didn't get the wording exactly, I'm really close. How can Diaper Man get thru security if everyone is doing a stellar job. We had all the "intell" we needed but it wasn't properly followed up on. Again their terminology was "stellar job". I can't remember the last time I heard such a pile of shit so plain as day from ANY politically motivated entity. Then POTUS gets on and says he takes full responsibility for the way things happened. Ideas I have heard...but rather than that, what about a nice pork BBQ sandwich...like a mini one, not too many calories, but everyone must eat one. Also, whoever sells them can make money...good for business!!!

Take a pork chop from the supermarket, not frozen, take it home, put it in the sink, and pour a can of coke on it. Wait just a bit, and you'll usually see little white worms wriggle up out of the meat. I saw it once, and it's a bit weird. I don't care, because I realize that cooking kills the worms, but I've never like pork chops anyway. Bacon at the scanners. that's a great idea, except Jews don't eat pork either.

It has been over 100 years since the last case of trichinosis here in the US. You cannot buy Fresh Pork, all pork is frozen hence killing the worms. Now on a small family farm where pigs/hogs/porkettes are fed garbage and used fresh there is a chance of trichinosis.
