AR Pics Thread

Lets see everyone’s AR’s and hear what you’ve done to them or plan on doing. These things are legos for men. I know we have a nice collection of Colts, Bushmasters (even w/ runs spray paint job), Noveskes, DPMS, RRA, M&Ps, Frankenstein rifles and many more. I like drooling at other people’s toys, so upload pics. I want to get some ideas for another one I’m working on.

I’ll start with mine…
I have a killflash for the ACOG on the way. I was planning on a getting a mount for my surefire E2D w/o using a pressure switch, but the TLR-1S (which I took off my G20) actually works pretty good right in front of the grip. Its not a safe queen, I just hosed it off… literally.

Bushmaster lower receiver and internals.

Troy front flip up
Troy modular combat grip
Troy pro grade sling adapter

Streamlight TLR-1S
Magpul CTR
Magpul MIAD
Magpul enhanced aluminum trigger guard
BCM/VLTOR Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle
BCM Bolt Carrier Group
Geissele SSA-E

I’m working on another one which will be a 1:7 BCM bbl with a BCM or VLTOR upper an LMT or Noveske lower and daniel defense handguard. That’s all for now. I’ll post pics when its done.

This is a VERY nice looking AR !!!! I would love to do a Noveske SPR in the 7.62 on either a 16" or 18" barrel w/ one of the bigger ACOG scopes (6x48). That would be a really nice setup for home protection and hunting as well. This is a really nice setup you have here though. Very nice!!

Hey Mike, I did it too!! I feel like I learned something today. Thanks man. I think your cousins wife will love the Noveske. They are really known for their barrels. Mine is amazingly accurate. You should search Noveske on facebook and check out the blonde in the pics. I can't remember her name, but she works there and is actually the girl that took my order and she is so hot it will make your head spin.

bbls are nice. I'm probably going with the BCM on the next one because I want a good chrome lined that will last forever, but If I had some extra cash, stainless Noveskes are the bees knees

Feesh, the tactical light mount, what is the part number or model number? That is the one I'm looking for. I want to be able to hit the button with my thumb.

You know I will be there right now!! Nice Colt. I bought a sling from Voodoo Tactical, But I have my eye on the Magpul MS2 I think it is called. I just have to figure out with end plate I want to put on to use the sling. i want the single point for attachment cuz I'm clumsy!!

Mke, thanks. Yea, those single point slings look pretty cool. I went with the two point cause it was just easier. You have a magpul stock on yours too and it has that little hold in the back to attach a quick detach sling, so I just went with that. Hey, weren't you looking at a Eotech sight??

Im not a fan of the MS2. I prefer VTAC. As far as a sling adapter, my Troy pro grade sling adapter works great. look at the front of the buffer tube on mine. Charging handle clears it with no problem

20 inch barrel

is heavy.if i had to do it again i would have got a 16 inch pencil barrel.i wanted it to resemble a vietnam era AR except for the removable carry handle.I also have a set of viet-era stock and fore end but have never put them on.i just got this gun back from my sis.she bought it,then it came back here for storage then she decided that since x mas is coming and she didnt know whjat to get me...

Reaper,
why the reflective tape on the p-mags?
nice rifle though. I think the Geissele SSA trigger will be a nice finish to a stellar mod. I have been debating on adding one to my ACR (same trigger group as an AR). I will need to contact Bushmaster to see if it is compatible.

its not reflective tape, but it is fluorescent green. I just had those loaded with M855 green tips. I use red tape for tracers. I number my training mags and usually have some kind of visible marking so I can quickly identify what kind of ammo is loaded in them.
