AR Rifles

Here is another question I would like everyones insight on. What company makes the best AR type rifle? I know there are a lot of makers out there, Rock River, DPMS, Bushmaster to name a few. I would just like to know, in yalls opinion, who has the better rifle. What are their pros and cons? Let me know what yall think. Thanks.

I like Bushmaster, colt, and the S&W MP. Armilite and DPMS ar ok too. Just make sure you go with a name brand and not a parts kit gun

Makes a good ar as well. I don't care much for Bushmaster because they don't care much for you. Check bushmaster warranty only one year, Armilite, Colt, Olympic have a life time warranty. That makes them better any day. Just my 2 cents.

Is Colt, Armalite, Olympic Arms, DPMS, and Stag Arms are all good AR's to own.

I have

a Colt match target and I love mine. I wish I would have got one with a flat top receiver though.

My wife loves mine. Very accurate rifle, I can stack'em at 200 yards.

Colt should be the most reliable. They have great QC and excellent part interchnagability

It's all opinion

Everytime I've heard this question posed it's almost always the same. The usuall suspects are all lined up here and thats good because of the name recognition. I myself own a Stag, but it's the only one I've ever had or shot. I would have to say that as long as you get a brand name, one of the ones mentioned earlier you'll be fine. This too though, is an opinion. Hope it helps.

opinion

i have built lots of AR's for customers and myself. you can go with parts kits providing you know what you are buying. my kits include a Wilson barrel, LMT upper, and a CMMG lower (lower is made by DPMS). a lot of name brands are actually manufactured by someone else. just stick with mil. spec.
i do not like bushmaster because some of the parts are commercial and will not interchange. especially the carbon15. i would not suggest that rifle at all. that is just my opinion based on hands on experience.
