Bought 114 acres in North Central Texas last year and I’ve a ZPT [zero pig tolerance]! Some of y’all know I’m kind if a one round for the task pian in the butt fellah, however, I’m goin’ to war on those piggie wiggies before they become a problem with my baby Longhorns - Noah built the ark ahead of the downpour, right - so I’ve decided to build or buy an AR10 .308 with a shortish barrel, a 30 round mag and a thermal (not night) optic... or do y’all reckon I ought to do it on the AR15 platform. So friends one n’all, AR10 or AR15?

have both just change out the upper and mag.Why short barrel? You may not to get close to the piggy's.and you want a good shot at them to kill.Plus you could have some buddies over to help kill hmmmm...............

Piggies

AR-15. 65 grain gameking in .223
The 6.5 grendel is really nice for pig sized game, but ammo is too pricey and just letting that expensive brass get lost in the grass is a deal breaker for me.
