Have done any fine tuning to factory AR triggers? In an effort to stay
within a tight budget i have been experimenting with trigger/hammer springs, and polishing. The problem i find with this is that i do get a better and lighter "feel", but have considerable creep. Any thoughts?

the only info i can give is on a heavy barrel 20 that i own. Brass all the same weight, deburred @ primer hole and lengths same. I used ccibench rest primers, remington brass, varga powder and nossler 77 grain hollowpoint. If memory serves me well, (recipee nor in front of me) I used 23.5 grains of powder. My results were chronographed @ 2607 fps average, all shots were within 11 fps. My moa @ 100 yds was 3/4, @ 200 yds 1", @ 300 yds 1 1/4". I ran out of time for now to experiment but plan on getting back to it very soon. I built this rifle using all match grade components. DPMS barrel, upper and lower recievers, stag bolt, rock river arms 2 stage trigger, and accu wedge. I put a straight 10 power tactical bushnell on the flat top reciever, hope this helped.
show your appreciation for your freedom, thank a vet
i have used varget powder, its burn rate is a little higher but have seen the best results with H4895. have been making best groups with Sierra BTHP match kings, 52, 53, and 55 gr.
i use Lapua brass. cant tell any difference between WSR and CCI primers, a lot of people think the WSR being cheaper is not good. i have used thousands of them and not one misfire. with this combo i have loaded in the range of 25.2 to 27.3 grain loads. with an OAL of 2.250, 53 gr. bthp, and a 26.2 gr. load i get a 5 shot group at 200 yards that almost every hole in the target touches the next.
