Told you all (those who were paying attention) i would be out for a month to do the move.. being the slow (but lousy worker) ploder i am it took closer to 6 weeks.. Gosh what fun they've been.. Thats said only 7/8 tounge in cheek..

We're moved in.. The home is all we could have wanted (come on Winchester dr.. how great is that) and were being sent those "thank you Lord" messages every day.. True storys; ten days ago Gloria and i are kicked back cold one in hand after a hard day.. G says "sure will be glad when we can get around to finding a painter.. NEXT DAY.. Door bell rings.. guys name is Hugh.. he and hiis Unckle have a painting bussiness.. all the guys ever done.. says will power wash, and calk you pck your colors .. 1200$.. He's doing it tomorrow, and yep were giving him more.. Last night G says i wonder how we get that big palm tree cut (gospel dudes and dudetes) today around 9 am knock on the door and it's Juan and his dad. "hey can i trim that palm for you" i tell him i've got another 8 things for him to do .. how much right? .. the works costs us 75$..

Gun stuff.. Got a Remi 1911 to go with the old rem/rand.. love it.. joined shooters world.. they are 12 min away from me going the geezer route and staying off bell rd and the 101..(phx stuff, thats our taladaga) .. Anyway got a discount being retired LE (and nifty cool t shirt) .. seriously they seem like really great people, and close enough i'm going to use them, so a yearly membership (act 14 mo) was spot on right.. quick aside here.. first time i shoot i had some of pards padre plinkers.. these puppys are soft enough shooting that i can flat "group" them.. course i have the audiance one would expect for a new member.. rolled the target down to 15 yds. and DA'd .. yep had the 19 K frame with the three t set up.. double actioned five rounds quick.. not talking Jerry Mecklick quick.. but that hammer was in movement all thru this.. ran the target back and three of the five could be coverd by a silver dollar.. the other two were in the white bullseye, bout two inches up and all five were inside 5 inches.. This gents was another of those ^^^^^^^^ up there things.. The Remi has a trigger that needs works.. the rem/rand breaks like a smith.. the new R1 has about 4 or 5 of those breaks before the sear actually breaks and discharges.. did run without fail tho, and the sites are a joy so im sure all will work out.. nice to have 1911's again.. also i've got some bucks holding a Webley thats converted to 45 acp.. least "suppos" to be.. thats sorta up in the air, but im in love with it so will see..

The gun range is indoor rifle as well.. so i can continue the Enfield saga..
I missed you guys.. glad to be back.. Obviously the spell check is still non functioning.. Thats to prove it's really su amigo padre Greg..

Yep i did miss you tramps.. welcome back greg.. welcome back gunslot buds..

Matty got me tickled .. as did the "plod mode" .. yep a long one today, still doing the wall hangings and assorted blah, blah, blah.. you guys have all moved and know the scoop.. will say the man cave took a turn in the right direction today, got a couple Black and Decker storage cab's 4' X 6' coming on monday. locking and neetokeen black and stainless, these will be the "garage" side of my space..work bench is already in place on the wall, gun cabinet, lawyers bookcase, and open book case make up the third side of the "lair".. the treadmill folds up (this has me laughing.. takes more strength to close it up than areobic bennies from using the foolish thing.. anyway it closes me in and works pretty well as an ersats cave door (don't ask, i honestly have no F'n ((sorry Lord)) idea, nor do i have sp ck for ersats).. Damn you guys are fun..

No update on the Webley.. was supposed to swing by today and check frame cyl space with an auto rim, but didn't get there.. have 20$ on the piece to hold it, so that happens tomorrow.. will say it's 90% and has big RAF on the side..do i want it.. ya think.. also for daisy.. this same dealer (guns plus) has a 1903.. going to say its close to 90% as well.. 1050$..

later dudes.. see you guys tomorrow..

for my blood. 1908s are my passion but they too are "pricey".
I hope that someday I'll get to drink a nice cold Brown Derby beer in your "Man Cave", must be a really nifty set up, congrats!
