I'm looking to take my long-range shooting to the next lever... Been using charts, but interested in making the switch to a B.C, LRF, and using Kestral weather station.... Anyone have any pointers or suggestions?

The eliminator... But only good to 600 yards. Not long enough....

yup..

Your right, burris. but still only 600 yards. I ultimately am looking at consistant 800-1000 meter shots.

Not like anyone uses them anymore now that we have LRASS.

my "Going nuts shooting position". I told some of my buddies about my roadguard vest plan. Basically, it went as such;

If I call the night before PT and say "wear your roadguard vest to PT, then I've gone nuts." They were to either wear the vest or not show up. Anyone wearing a roadguard vest is a no-shoot, anyone without is a shoot target. It was 653 meters from my shooting position to where the 1SG stood. 650 on the first shot, 655 on the second and third. About average. I never would do that, but it was funny to see how many people got that "Oh shit, I think this guy is serious" look when I told them.

Still up in the air...

I looked at that one as a possable... Any thoughts on the BC? I was thinking about getting a palm pilot as a dedicated device and down-loading a comp program on it.

You can run just the software on a PDA without purchasing theirs also.

Billy uses this

when shooting his Savage BAT308 and 338... He loves it, also one guy I know who is a SWAT sniper has the 511 tactical BC watch he really likes...

Dunno, but the watch seems like it would be less load but a pain also because of the size of the text and having to remember all the sequences for pushing the same buttons to input data..
