I'm sure everyone here is aware of my new build,and probably sick of me talking about it haha,but here goes anyway

need reasonably priced barrel ideas for my 308 platform AR.
my model allows me to use any barrel i want,but id like to stick to dpms/SR25 platform barrels for ease of parts compatibility not looking for long distance target gun,but need good accuracy for hunting,one shot one kill

here are my requirements
1 must be compatible with 7.62 nato/308
2 must be 18" maybe 16
3 must be med profile (no lightweight types)
4 carbine or mid gas would be favored over rifle length
5 threaded muzzle

looked at black hole barrels,and dams so far
can get a good deal for a dpms sass fluted bull barrel 18" but not sure of the weight.was thinking since i have a dpms hbar on my a r15 1" under hand guard .750 gas block 16" i thought 18" bull fluted with a much larger bore may weigh near the same.any feedback here?
