Basic ballistic trajectory curve for .............
standard 5.56 NATO, 55gram/ cartridge, 16" barrel. I have been trying to research this topic, and wonder if anyone can confirm the little bit I have found. Any body confirm this, or correct it. If you have different numbers, please cite source. Thanks for any help.

They do not show 5.56 NATO, but do show Remy 223, which probably is close.

The 5.56 nato and .223 remmy are identical except for operating pressure.
5.56 has a higher cup pressure. If you can give me a couple of days to get home, I will gather my loading manuals and ballistic charts.

36 yds is dead on at 300 yds. I think 25 yds is pretty close at 200 yds.

I dont have one around anymore but back when I worked out at Fort Lewis(ARMY)I would find targets left in vehicles. These were actual military targets.Printed on the target was a "M16-zero at 25 meters=4 inches high in elevation at 100 meters.I cant quote a source but you know I wont feed you a line.for what it is worth...

You have deluged me with data and information. I will be studying quietly, and when I go stark raving insane, I will get back to you to ask more questions. OR, even in 100degree plus temp, I may just go to the range, and do some cut&try.
In the meantime--thanks to alla y'all.
