The assumption is that the best comes from the "old west". The border patrol agents of the 30, 40s, and 50, saw an incredible amount of combat with smugglers, outlaws, Mexican bandits, and even Mexican soldiers. I'm betting Charlie Askins or Bill Jordan could whip any of the previous picks. I'll go with Bill Jordan
