The Big List Of Who Hates Guns
I was cruising the web reading gun articles and then I started wondering about writing an article on anti-gun organizations and people. Since anti-gunners are always saying “no one wants to take your guns away” or they want me to live under their take of “sensible gun laws” (neither of which I believe to be prudent, sensible or anything remotely truthful) I figured I would go to the NRA’s Institute of Legislative Action to find out who are the people that want to be sure that I can’t defend my home or go shooting my .22 in the woods (both heinous acts of human behavior to be sure). So, hats off the the NRA-ILA team for compiling this list. Here is what the NRA-ILA team had to say. The following organizations have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct support to anti-gun organizations. In many instances, these organizations lent their name in support of specific campaigns to pass anti-gun legislation such as the March 1995 HCI “Campaign to Protect Sane Gun Laws.” Many of these organizations were listed as “Campaign Partners,” for having pledged to fight any efforts to repeal the Brady Act and the Clinton “assault weapons” ban. I can understand doctors and nurses being negative about guns. Emergency room workers probably see a lot of gunshot wounds in big city gang banger territory, But no one seems to speak out about the lack of morals and empathy for fellow man that allows people to shoot someone because they dissed you or some other stupid reason. And what hypocrits are the actors like Stallone or Connery or Uma Thurman, martin sheen, who made miollions off of uber violent films.I don't know for sure but I bet Stallone owns a gun or two. All the newspapers mentioned have a hard left wing lean anyway and just spew the BS their readers want to hear anyway. I am suprised about some of the listed businesses though.

I honestly wonder if some of the entries on this list might be mistaken. I mean, Bob Barker? His most recent hospitalization was after he fainted while shooting at a gun range in Beverly Hills! Hardly seems like an anti-gunner. I think a lot of people on this list might have gotten lumped in from something else, or might support certain portions of things that qualify as anti-gun. I don't think everyone on there is really looking to try and pry my gun from my cold dead fingers. Then again, why take the chance?

Also, has anyone else noticed what I noticed on the celebrities list? They're invariably has-beens! The only possible exception is Stallone, but everyone else on that list is falling off the Earth or already has. Probably grabbing onto one of Hollywood's beloved liberal causes in an effort to revive careers. I mean, Ed Asner? Really? Who gives a damn what he thinks? Until I saw this article I didn't know he was still alive.

Here's the deal, im reading thru that list, and outside of those two names i didn't have any surprises.. and to be honest not anymore impressed with their life time volume of work than i would thnk they are of mine.. Guess what im trying to say (poorly) is that im not real impressed with anyone on that list.. sure that will keep them up late and all..
We all make our own choices in life.. for that list they chose to believe that a call to 911 will stop a home invasion... and i hope (really do) the good Lord takes care of them.. Hope that same thing for all of us, just don't see any problem with trying to help him do it..
Everyone deserves to have a safe family.. guess they trust the gov more than themselves..

I have some doubt about the sincerity of some of those folk regarding their anti-gun position. I would not be surprized if many of them ONCE signed onto a knee-jerk petition after some gun related tragedy. Once on a list always on a list.
