Blackwater grips

One of my Sig's a is factory reconditioned P226 2007 Blackwater edition.....I guess one of the grips was cracked or they were taken off at local gun shop.Didn't think it would be hard to find a set...(WRONG).Only seen one set on e-bay.And can't find anywhere.Sig is dragging their feet and I haven't puching them too hard yet.Wondering if anyone knows how to find a set.It just dawned on me to ask as today was weapons cleaning today. If someone has at helpful info,I would be much in your debt.

Im sure you've done this, but if not, check out www.sigsauer.com. I didnt see the model grips you were looking for, but just click on dealers. It'll ask for your zip code and how far you would be willing to travel. See if that gets you anywhere closer to getting this resolved!!

Thats why I suggested

trying to find a dealer close to you, and see what they might can do to help you!!! And you never know if they may carry it, or know someone else that does. And good evening to you too!!!

sig grips

two years ago sig custom shop had a shortage of wood grips. They were putting out equinox's and elite's with regular grips, then would mail you the wood grips when they caught up to all of the orders. I can imagine it would be hard to find the blackwater grips, since they don't make them anymore, and sigs last forever. Also people were getting the blackwater grips and putting them on regular 226's. I'm sure some idiot replaced them with hogues or something and would be willing to part with the blackwaters. good luck, I'll keep my eye out. Have you tried ebay?

im trying to make up for the inane tooth comment... Does anyone else enjoy looking at grips in gunstores as much as i do... i always start with the used Grips and leather.. Found a set of "mint" victory model k frames for 2 bucks last time we were in Prescott.. This was a new store that i had driven by a couple of times but never been in due to the poor location..

i always drop of Gloria, drive down to J&G.. Then have two other ones that always i always stop at.. the new one was a real treat.. Pretty small on the outside, but full of stock inside, and pretty fair prices..

What do you guys usually check for first..

I walk straight for the rifles. Checking to see what used rifles they have or if they have any unusual mil surps.
