Installed the Competition Hammer, cut the safety back fitting it to the hammer, re cut the sear and polished out the trigger bar.

Need to install the LDA Comp Sights and the new main spring.

I wonder how I am going to tell him that I'm not giving it back until I get to shoot it on Tuesday night?

LOL

Thinking about putting in a dual adjustable Single Action Trigger, but that is something he is going to have to buy from me before I put it in.

Got my business cars made up finally, now going to attempt to actually get my web site on line at least and then work on tweaking it.... blhhhhh, used to be fun creating web sites, now it is just a pain in the ass.....

Sounds sweet

Glad you're feeling better too! Let us know how it shoots (if you get to hang on to it long enough).

Appreciate the "congrats" on the home.. We came within 3K of asking price, which only means it was under priced, but at least a cash deal..

very good to hear about the house.

I know its going to take a weight off, always had issues with hanging back and waiting myself, when we bought our home I really didn't care for all the back and forth and told them so. Thats why my wife does most of that type of dealing.. lol

I'm goona have to look into one of those. It don't look like I'm gonna be able to get a Hi-Power : )
Kinda got into a spat with the wife saturday. We went to the flea market. Sure enough, found a S&W stainless in .357. So I'm haggling on price and looking it over when she walks up. "you've already got a .357 or three!" I told the guy I'd think on it. Spent the rest of the day telling her "you've already got one!" whenever she wanted to buy something. Oh happy day!! LOL! Greg, don't ask, I never got down to checking the model #. It had a heavy 4" barrel, target sights, factory pachmyer type grip. Cylinder locked up good and the bore had a tad of powder fouling so I know it would shoot.

She loves yard sales, goodwill stores, flea markets, 2nd hand shops, anywhere she can buy used JUNQUE for 100% more than I think it's worth, then she turns around and gives it to her brothers and sisters.
Wal*Mart? Keep outta her way!
There is very little I'm interested in buying for myself but I think that when I do spend it helps clear her junque-a-holic conscience.

Guessing not a married guy on here who hasn't had the same deal you had.. More than once i've heard either...You need another gun ..WHY.. or You already have one of those.. (that time was cool, cause i actually had two of them.. lol) The Smith if it had a full length under lug was a 656.. If just a bull barrel a 66, those are the K and L frame respectfully.. Tell me what they were asking.. OH, and Pard, you know im going to tell you it was a great price just to do the "dirt rub" thing..
