I cannot believe how we are being suckered by the North Koreans. After they just reactivated their reactor, they somehow conned the six party conference into believing they are going to be good fellas from now on.
These are the folks that sold SCUDS to Saddam, so he could kill Americans and Israelis during the Gulf war. These are the folks who test nukes and ICBMs, thumbing their noses at the international community, and flying the ICBMs close to Japan for intimidation purposes. These are the folks that intel tells us are in league with the Syrians and Iranians, giving them technology for ultimately producing enough fisionable material to surround Israel with nukes, and ultimately threaten all of Europe, and parts of the USA.
How stupid can we be!!??

political ploy

this is nothing more than Bush trying to do something memorable concerning world politics before he leaves office.and it might be a gesture towards the north koreans to get them to back off a bit

North Korea

My wife's niece's husband just got back from being stationed @ the border of North Korea. He has mixed feelings about this situation but feels it is a step in the right direction. We have had little if any dialogue with the North Koreans and in this day and age, not communicating is a bad situation. Do we trust them? Well, trust but verify. It is a start and with time maybe a good one. Time will tell.

No Credit

No credit to the Bush administration. This is a situation thats time has come. It just happens to happen during his watch. Besides that, have you ever seen North Korean quality? Some of the worst designed and manufactured crap the world has ever seen. Scuds are an example. Most are lucky not to blow up before launching.

Reactivated Reactor

They would like you to believe they were reactivating that reactor. They are trying to get the piece of shit to work. They are sitting on the next Chernobyl, just watch.
