I was curious to see how Cheaper Than Dirt would handle a review I just wrote on the Glock-clone mags from KCI (Korean). I did not buy the mags from CTD. A number of customers knocked the mag but I gave a favorable review since they worked great for me - 200+ rds! - but I also quoted the price I paid ($11.99) which was $18 cheaper than "Cheaper than Dirt" ....they printed my review BUT EDITED OUT THE PRICE I paid. I have seen this before with them (pricing) but wanted to be sure this time. I sent another post asking them if they would be honest enough to post a lower pricing - been a week now - post never showed up! Buyer BEWARE! Shop around. ...shoot 'em if ya got 'em!

crazy4gunz,sorry to hear they dont like your review.have you ever done business with them?well,i have!a couple of things i ordered from them didnt work so well.i called their customer service line and spoke to a sales rep who actually cared.this person told me to throw away(in the garbage-i asked!)the item i didnt like and then they sent me another one to try.the rep asked me to email him personally if the second try of the product didnt work.well,the second time everything worked as promised so i dont understand your issue!

I have bought a number of things from them -- when I couldn't find it - or find it cheaper anyplace else. As for cust. service - I bought a item that didn't fit and they said I would have to go back to manufactuer - after a month of squabbling back and forth I got a replacement ( from manufacturer who said to keep the other part!) - another time they were hedging to refund a item until I showed them it was incorrectly described on their website. A user on another board actually had screen prints of them changing/misadvertising prices on the same day (they changed a price then boasted it was a MINUS - (thats a negative) 54% savings!!! -- DUH!!!) So as I said, unless you really can't find it - BUYER BEWARE!

it's higher that gold. What crazy is talking about, most of what CTD has you can find other places at a much cheaper price. CTD is now one of the highest priced places to shop.

ok,then post the sites where we can still find this stuff"cheaper than dirt"!this company is like any other,they are dealing with higher prices like everyone else!

Some of the retail folks might not survive. We know that. A lot of "stuff" went wrong at the same time. Too include a rush to the counter to buy everything in sight. Let's support our local guys when the rush stops! Let's also reflect our attitude about escalated ammo cost(I guess if oil can do it so can (?)). I know two of my favorites, Buffalo Bore and Double Tap have remained pretty stable and I've remained a very small but avid customer.
