ca ban on bullet button "loophole"? wtf?
Yee introduces bill to ban "Bullet buttons"... Legislators from San Francisco are committed to banning....if it has anything to do with guns! Senator Leland Yee is getting in line with those who have gone before as he introduces a new banning bill, this time addressing the "bullet-button" on semi-automatic rifles. Calling a semi-automatic rifle an "assault weapon" , Yee's recently crafted bill, SB 249, removes the changeablity of magazines from quick to time consuming. Hoping to revive the "spirit of California's assault weapon statute" Yee is intent on closing what he sees as a "loophole." Yee introduces bill to ban "bullet buttons:.... Senator Yee admits in this article that gun owners are "mostly" law abiding....never-the-less, his "deep concerns" drive him to introduce this bill on behalf of civilians and law enforcement.
