I know the locking block is known to break clean in half on most Charles Daly Shotty's. That being said, you would think some gun parts supplier would be making a killing selling replacement parts for these guns.... Yet I CANT find any anywhere.. If anyone comes across one that is in stock somewhere, PLEASE let me know!! Please!!!!

Hi

Have you tried www.gunpartscorp.com ? I am reworking an old JC Higgins model 20 and they have had parts for that. Good luck.

lucky is right. Check http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ad/1200230.htm. They're sold out right now, but it seems they do carry them. Maybe you can get a hold of them and have them order some.

Thanks Lucky, I was thinking about this more and got to thinking about the Turkish manufacturer, Akkar. So I started looking at this. It seems they make a few under different names and they all have the same problem. I think I found something even better:

From this link: http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=462595

Quote:
...the bolt had mashed the pad allowing the bolt to travel a bit farther and bolt handle to hit on the back of the receiver window. I believe this is what was causing the bolt handle to break. I then contacted export@akkar.com.tr who manufactured the gun. I explained the problem I was having and was told that they have replacement parts to correct this problem with broken bolt handles. It cost me $100.00 for the parts and shipment, but I think was worth the cost...
