This is a pretty simple design which would not be hard to make a copy of which you can do, not to sell but for personal use it wouldn't be a problem.
I was thinking about it and a person could take a Steel Load Bering 3 x 3 Post, or even a drop from one. Then cut it down the 3x3x2, take some steel tube and a couple of blocks, treaded hardened rod and put together this or get a little creative and make a more solid one as far as the knobs and such.
Also has me thinking about designing a reliable, solid one of my own and maybe selling it at a price that the regular shooter can afford and use instead of making one for Gun Smiths and charging out the ass for it so they can charge the shooter out the ass to change the sights after already footing the bills for the sites.
I mean hell, Gun Shops buy theirs for say $300.00 and then after putting sights on 12 Pistols it is pure profit for a few minutes of work.
Kind of like CV Joints on a car, not crap to changing them yet they charge you almost 2x - 4x the cost of the freaking parts to install them and all it takes is a Oblong Metric Socket... Hell of a mark up....
No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
