They have them in various lengths.

Asp!!

You get them at your local Police equipment store.
I get all my supplies at "Oklahoma Police Supply.
Asp, There are 3 lengths, get one that is at least as long as your arm. Under arm to the tips of your fingers!! then have a trained Officer teach you to use it.
Remember never strike the head!!!
You NEED to be TRAINED to use the tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are LIABIL
You can use pressure points, leverage tactics, and never have to strik a person!!
Learn where and how to strike a certain spot, your apponant will shit their pants!!

Training

I fully agree with you on the training. Want to see where the best place to look in to getting them was and also the better quality of them.

I would look online for sure. LApolicegear.com has them, rangerjoes.com has them I believe. Definantly check out your local suplus stores/gun shops, thats were most agencies get their equipment. I know ours uses the local surplus here. In actuality your probably safe with any company, I know asp is the most popular tho.

aluminum ball bat. Be sure to carry
a ball and glove also so it's sporting
equipment, not a weapon

treat a ball bat like a rifle with a bayonet.
If you swing it they might take it away from you
