Colt

Its my personal opinion. Its made more guns that i like such as the colt 1864 army or the colt 1911. S&W has made some good weapons, but not as many have made such deep an impact as some of the Colt friearms.

Colt's are price bloated for the most part.

S&W is mil speck just like the Colt but you are not going to have to give up your left nut to purchase one.

Also, they are not going to ban the AR again, it won't float....

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

Either one is good

You are going to pay for the Colt brand, though. I know that rampant pony is cool looking, but of the two, I'd probably go S&W. I know, the guys who throw in the other options are annoying, but don't overlook Bushmaster or Rock River Arms.

I've never seen a 308 M&P. I played with the 901 and it was a pretty nice set up with easily interchangeable uppers/barrels/calibers.

Damn it, Raper

Good job with the reading retention. I completely missed the boat on the .308 thing.
