11/20/2008 - Change . . . For The Worse
For eight long years, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Janet Reno mocked and attacked gun owners’ rights. Now, despite our hard-fought battles, we are poised to see history repeat itself under a gun-hating Obama-Biden administration. More...
10/14/2008 - Standing Guard: Vote For The Second Amendment
In just a few days, on November 4, gun owners will be presented with a very clear choice of a pro-Second Amendment versus an anti-Second Amendment Presidential ticket. John McCain and Sarah Palin versus Barack Obama and Joe Biden represents a stark contrast for the future of our freedom. More...
10/14/2008 - McCain-Palin vs. Obama-Biden A Clear Choice For Gun Owners
In this year’s presidential election, some of the watchwords have been “experience” and “change.” While the Obama-Biden ticket has worked to change gun owners’ rights for the worse, the McCain-Palin ticket couples John McCain’s experience with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s new energy and lifelong support of Alaska’s hunting heritage. More...
10/14/2008 - Obama: Issue by Issue
In his speech accepting the Democratic nomination for president, Barack Obama tried to spin his words skillfully. As he has before, Obama claimed he would "uphold the Second Amendment." But Obama, who's lived his whole life in cities, states and foreign countries with restrictive gun laws, once again suggested that "the reality of gun ownership may be different" in rural and urban areas--implying that the Second Amendment means something different depending on where you live. More...
10/14/2008 - Joe Biden: The voice of anti-gun experience
Most people are saying that Barack Obama chose Biden as his running mate to compensate for his own lack of experience. After all, Obama has been in the Senate since only 2005, while Biden has been a senator since 1973, when Obama was 11 years old. But few in the Senate have as much experience as Biden in attacking our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. More...
10/14/2008 - Presidential Tickets Are Worlds Apart
The parties’ political conventions usually serve only as an alarm clock that rings for four days straight. Every four years, the clock is set to go off around Labor Day, reminding Americans to start paying attention to electoral contests that are generally well-defined by that point--all set to play out their final months according to script. More...
10/14/2008 - Sarah Palin: new energy for hunters and shooters
Few events have shaken up a recent campaign like the choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin—an NRA Life member—for the Republican vice-presidential nomination. Proof of Sen. John McCain’s wisdom in choosing her is that more Americans watched her acceptance speech than watched Barack Obama’s. Many commentators compared Gov. Palin’s natural stage presence to Ronald Reagan’s. More...
9/11/2008 - WE`RE BARAAACK! The Billionaire Gun-Banners Who Back Obama`s "Change"
How Bill Clinton`s point man on gun control, backed by gun-ban king George Soros, is set to play a major role in Barack Obama`s anti-gun plans. More...
9/11/2008 - Barack Obama and the Global Gun Banners
Self-anointed “candidate of change” Barack Obama has earned the support of billionaire socialist George Soros. United Nations officials who, like Soros, sneer at U.S. sovereignty and the Second Amendment rights of ordinary Americans, also cheer his White House bid. More...
9/5/2008 - Joe Biden: The Voice Of Anti-Gun Experience
Last week, we highlighted the enormous differences between vice presidential nominees Sarah Palin (R) and Joe Biden (D). More...
8/29/2008 - Sarah Palin and Joe Biden: Worlds Apart
Even before this week, the difference between Barack Obama and John McCain was clear. More...
8/11/2008 - Standing Guard: The Company He Keeps
What do a radical South Side Chicago priest who has demanded that law-abiding firearm dealers and state legislators be “snuffed out,” and Chicago’s political boss, who is “livid” and “outraged” over the Supreme Court’s recognition of the Second Amendment, have in common? Influence over Barack Obama. More...
7/28/2008 - Barack Obama's 10 Point Plan to "Change" The Second Amendment
For the Brady Campaign, Violence Policy Center, Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, U.N. gun-ban extremist Rebecca Peters and her globalist billionaire sugar-daddy George Soros, for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his horde of big-city politicians—in fact, for all those individuals and organizations who would harm or destroy our Second Amendment rights—Barack Obama’s mantra of “change” means their agenda will be harnessed to the total power of an aggressive, activist and radical federal government. More...
7/28/2008 - Obama Wins Delegate Race, But AHSA Endorsement Flames Out
It was the very last day of the presidential primary season before Barack Obama amassed enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination. He did not secure this critical mass from delegates won in primary elections and caucuses, but from so-called “superdelegates”—elected officials and other heavy hitters—who rushed to endorse him on the final day. In fact, Hillary Clinton surprised the pundits with a victory in the South Dakota primary on that final day, when many predictions were for Obama to take that state and Montana in a sweep. More...

6/23/2008 - The Two Reasons We Must Stop Clinton And Obama
Gun rights advocates considering skipping this November's presidential election should keep two things in mind--the Supreme Court and the United Nations. More...
5/16/2008 - An Exclusive Interview With John McCain
To say that the 2008 elections will be crucial for the future of the Second Amendment would be an understatement. Future efforts to preserve our gun rights and our hunting heritage hinge on who will take the helm at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue next January. NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox recently sat down with presumptive Republican nominee Senator John McCain. They asked him some direct questions about his record and his philosophy. Here's what Senator McCain had to say. More...
4/11/2008 - Standing Guard: Barack Obama's Slippery Oratory
To understand Barack Obama on the Second Amendment, you have to know about the clash of character between the then-Chicago state senator and an ordinary citizen who exercised his right to armed self-defense in violation of a local gun ban. More...
4/3/2008 - Obama Mentor Ted Kennedy's Anti-Gun Career
The man who has cast more anti-gun votes than any other lawmaker in U.S. history has endorsed a candidate for president. On Jan. 28, Sen. Ted Kennedy formally, and to great fanfare, bestowed his political blessing on Sen. Barack Obama. More...
