computer question

i am trying to play a DVD on my computer,a box pops up and says i need a DVD player download and directs me to a windows pay-for -it download.
My question is: do you guys know of a free DVD player website/download? any help/rude comments/or death threats would be appreciated.

You can try any of open source media players like Gom player for instance. Or you can order some licensed software players online, this might work as well.
