CZ 75

Had my uncle ask me today about a CZ-75. I told him I dont know anything about CZ's but would ask you all.

So whats the good word on the CZ 75? Price wise? Reliabilty anything that should be noted so I can give him some idea about it.

Thanks

is pretty reliable. Price should be between $350-500 NIB depending on model/options.

My dad has one. It's a good pistol. Nothing wrong with. I'd agree with Reapers assessment on the price. Many Euro nations use this for military and police applications.

CZ 75

I have a CZ 75B and a TZ 75 and really like both of them. they work perfectly and will also fit any holster made for a 1911.

CZ is the poor mans Sig...

Funny story, you can pick up a used CZ starting from anywhere around $300.00 - $450.00 in 9 or 40 cal and it will put every round in one hole if the shooter is good enough. It will eat well beyond 30,000 rounds and still do that, the parts to refurb it all cost less than $75.00 and down as low as $1.37. Mecgar makes mags for it so you can get 19 round mags for $29.00 for the 9 mm and 17 round mags for the 40 at the same price. Jericho(Baby Eagle, EAA, and any of the other clones of the CZ on the market, their mags will work in the CZ also.

Franky speaking, it is one of the best bang for buck purchases he will ever make.

I have yet to have anyone who has shot mine that has not either went right out and purchased one of their own or did so on their next weapon purchase.

Smithing on them is very easy if you have some back ground and are mechanically inclined.

MecGar CZ mags

Just a little endorsement, in case anyone is curious. I bought some MecGar mags for my Dad for his CZ75 on father's day a couple years back. They are top quality. Rugged construction and smooth feeding. Absolutely worth the price. I have even found since then that manufacturers use MecGar to produce their "factory" mags.

don't know if you know it, but they make the Factory mags for CZ, Sig, Beretta and more than a few others with each Companies Trademark stamped in them...

Thanks Everyone

I will pas the good word to my uncle. Just reading about it and you all's comments are making me hungry for one in 9mm. I am considering it as my next purchase. But anyways its not my turn to buy a new gun so I will hold off and see if my uncle is gonna get one. If he does I will send a few rounds down range. Anything else ya all want to share let me know and I will tell him. Thank ya!

Wish I knew a month back you might like one. Tasso just sold another friend I sent up to his place a Two Tone 75b new in the box for $350.00 with two 16 round mags.

I'm going to pick up the 75b 40 SP01 Tactical and set it up for IPSC so I can shoot major.

For the life of me I can not even consider buying a tricked out one for $1200.00 and up, when I can build one for $700.00.

There is a 75 pre B at a pawn shop near Ulmerton and 19. You go up like your going to Knights, the pawn shop is right there next to Honeywell where the frontage road splits and on the left it takes you along 19 to knights and if you go right it takes you down behind Honeywell. In the middle of the fork sits the Pawn shop. They also have a Double stack Lama there and a few others, though they think they are worth their weight in gold....

I'd check at the ranges in the area and see if anything is listed on their bulletin boards. For the most part if someone is selling a CZ in this area I get a phone call from whomever comes across it. If anyone calls I'll let you know first thing.

I have a CZ 75 compact that I like a lot. The only thing I didn't care for was the da/sa trigger so I converted it to single action only, much better now. The gun hasn't given me any trouble with any ammo type and is incredibly accurate.

So they pretty much can not be anything but accurate.

People will tell you the Browning Hipower but it isn't.... Take the three apart and lay the parts out side by side as I have done and you will wonder why SIG didn't call foul with CZ.
