My Personal Preference

My personal preference would be lever action because I like carbine-style rifles. They are shorter and lighter which makes them easier to handle in heavy brush. Plus follow up shots are quicker if u need 2 take them (hopefully not!) The only disadvantage is the recoil is greater than a bolt action rifle.

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info. But I think I'm interested in a smaller caliber such as a 9mm or .45Acp, due to recoil in full auto mode, and ammo price. So the Uzi is a possible choice, depending on how much they cost. Oh and speaking of cost, Forget the tommygun, I found 1 for sale yesterday for $25,000! A fortune! I hope 2 go to Knob Creek in October and look at them then.

Knob Creek is

Knob Creek is in Ky, my home state. I'm not sure what county it is in, but it is in West Point,Ky near Louisville.

Was that tommygun full-auto, or a semi-auto reproduction??

All I know is the Uzi is a 9mm and there are different models. If the Uzi is full-auto, it requires a class 3 license. If it is semi it doesn't. Any gun that has full-auto capabilities requires a class 3 license(unless it is illegal and the gov. doesn't know about it.)

Pretty good

I'm not bragging or anything, but every deer I have ever shot, I have not even had to search for, they dropped right there. So i would say I'm a pretty good shot.

I'm also pretty good with a shotgun shooting clays and birds, but I'm not the best with a Handgun:(

Never Shot

Never Shot either of those guns. But I've heard the Mosin Nagant is very accurate. And the Colt Single Action Army was a revolutionary weapon.

What I meant was

What I meant was it was and still is a very highly regarded weapon and it employed new technology in its time.

It probably could hold its own with a desert eagle.
