People should consider these guys when looking at AR's.

http://deltacompanyarms.com/

The May 2011 issue of "Tactical Weapons" Magazine features an article about one of our co-owners, Aaron Fouraker. The article is titled "Soldiers of Steel", which lays out the highlights and lowlights of his military career, and how he and the other co-owner, David Dyess started this business.

There will be serveral more articles on some of Delta Co. Arms' firearms in several more Harris Publications magazines in the near future.

To see the intro to the article, follow the link below:

Thanks very much for posting this. The uppers do cost a little more than a basic DPMS, but they are all also available in over 10 calibers, have a lifetime warantee, and are guaranteed to shoot 1moa or better. Even our 9" uppers will shoot under .5" at 100 yds out of our mechanical rest. Also, if a customer needs to get rid of thier upper or rifle, we will buy it back if we can, to help them out.

I thank you very much for posting this. Our new website is not fully complete yet, and we will be adding over 3x the products shortly.

Thanks very much!
Regards,
Aaron Fouraker

Aaron..

Thank you both and all for your service, first off.

For those wanting a quality Rifle I do not think your price is out of line in fact I feel it is an extremely fair price.

Consider the fact that the designs and additions are from tried and tested combat veterans which know what worked and did not work in the field. That when that M4 crapped out you saw first hand what caused it and you know what it took to fix it and did.

Then as a Armorer in limbo you did it often enough to think about what failed and how you would make the necessary modifications to either remove that point of failure or to make a possible change in the build process or parts to help ensure it did not repeat.

Personally I find that knowing this it would be a huge plus on my decision making when considering a new AR or Upgrade.

You of all people know that a broken gun gets people killed and isn't even as useful as a Baseball Bat at those times.

There is the value added feature of supporting an American company, being part of helping build not only that company but also helping Veterans who have served our country when called upon to do so in armed conflict.

Good to hear, hope it fits ok... I wear mine at 4:00 so that the slide runs behind the hip bone but the grip ride right above it. You should actually be able to draw from a sitting position with ease as it should ride almost straight up and down while sitting.

hey guys dont get me wrong,im all for suporting troops and vets, and its not that i think you dont get your moneys worth in the rifle, just for an average shooter like myself that dosnt compete its a little pricy thats all.the company that i bought most of my parts from is also run by a disabled vietnam vet,and builds high quality high priced weapons, but im on a smaller budget than allot of other people so i chose to do the building myself, pay as i go,and improve upon it later as my skills with the weapon improve.i do plan on building a new caliber upper for hunting deer with, and more serious acuracy will matter to me then, but for my 5.56/223 that is basicly just for fun,and coyotes my dpms barrel seems to be good enough for now.

Aaron,i meant no offence to you or your company,i am always looking at diferent companys and products.maybe when i decide to do a hunting caliber upper you guys can help me out.havent decided on a caliber or anything yet,but it wont be for a while anyway.

Jay,
No worries Brother! I didnt take it that way at all, and you make a valid point! We do offer some cheaper builds, still utilizing top notch components, but they are simpler, which doesnt make them any less of a rifle, just not as expensive. Thanks.

glad you dont take offence, didnt mean it like that at all.what do you offer in the 400 to 500 range for uppers or barrels and bolts?i understand you must charge more fore more quality products, and i will be looking for a good hunting barrel for my ar15 soon.i have a billet upper, just need a barrel, and bolt/carier.thaks!been lookin at geting a huntin barrel for my ar15,thinkin 6.5 grendel, but it seems a little light in the ass to shoot larger game with,.50 beowulf seems like more than i want, but 25wssm looks like a good round for deer, pigs, and maybe larger game.what do you think??????

Aaron...

It says on the site that you offer "over 10" different calibers, but I couldn't find a listing of the calibers on the site. Could you post, or PM me the calibers you produce? I am looking fo a new upper, and if you offer the caliber I'm after, I will place my offer through you when ready to order. Thanks.
