DeWalt Battery Pack

I have a 18V pack is dying. I see that they can be disassembled. Does anyone offer the Ni-Cad batteries or do I have to buy a whole pack from DeWalt?

Thanks guys,

OK, a second one is acting up. The flashing red light on the charger is sending the message "hot/cold pack delay". Anyone know what this means?

If you plug into charger immediately after heavy use the battery pack will be warm. Let it cool for 10 minutes or so before charging. If you still ne a re-cell on the pack, try a Interstate battery store. I had some 18 volt re-celled there, better than new! :)

That's exactly what I did. Yes, the battries were warm. Thanks for the help. They may be OK after all.
