Don't you know that those values/rules only apply to the peasants? You're not a peasant are you?

Yup, I have a similar experience. My family's Suburban has been hit 4 times and the only thing it has to show for it is 1 small dent in the rear bumper. Over 200,000 miles on the beast too! And as to the diesels, gotta love them, although the Fords do tend to make a shit ton of noise. But whatever.

Isn't that when they went to the new 24 valve. Anyway, my grandpa had one and it would drown out the engine noise from our tractors. The 6.0 PowerStrokes are not one of my favorite motors.

I must now interject a gun into this post. I had a 85 Chevy S-10 that my buddy shot a hole through the floor board of with a Browning Semi-Auto .22. I can't remember the model off hand, it's the popular one that holds 11 in a tubular magazine. It breaks in two real easy as well. You just push the button rearward toward the ejection port on the bottom of the rifle.

I can compete,

I have a diesel guzzling V8. Now don't get mad, it's a 2000 7.3 liter PowerStroke and I know you are a Chevy guy.

I don't like the car in the first place and to pay that much for a used car that was owned by a joke of a person.

Greasy- big car safety

that is the liberal value. Al gore has a private jet, limo, huge house making a huge carbon footprint. I got so heat from co-workers about buying my wife a cadillac srx becuase it is a large suv. We need the space and safety features. The milage is actually 25 city 28 highway. Better milage than a minivan.
Once again the biggest folly of our lifetime is global warming. I hope I live long enough to see the libs declare they were wrong. I think we will see a global cooling over the next 150 years because of orbital symetry which happened 500 years ago. The supporting data is out there. We learned it in college before they changed thier mind and declared the global warming issues.

Ranger vs. Duramax

I had a Ford Ranger 3.0 litre that got 20 mpg. It hauled 1000 pounds max and couldn't haul any but a small trailer. It was considered 'eco' because it would burn alcohol that I could not get anywhere.

Now I have a 2500HD Chevy Duramax 6.6 litre--that gets -uh- 20 mpg. It hauls a ton, plus a 15,000 lb trailer.

Same mpg, vastly greater ability.

I have a small dodge pickup with a cummins. I do not tow. But I leave one hell of a foot print where ever I go. I figure with all the bi-cyclists here in seattle, I can make up for their soft tread. If the smoke aint black, get on the attack!!

Richen up that puppy 5%, bring an exhaust stack out of bed at about head height angled toward the curb and show them bicycle tyrants what a real carbon footprint feels like. Smoke em all, let God sort 'em out! LOL

I designed the bumpers and a buddy of mine fabricated them up for me over in Idaho.
I designed them for when I was clearing residential lots for development. It was tool to pull the trees where I needed them to fall. I could not take any chances on the unexpected rotaion of the trees after the cut.

btw, samD. Go cards and yup my stage 3 exhaust is ready for biker lung

The ad said Obama drove it until 2007. That's before he was elected. It's not him selling it. Obviously someone bought it before the elections.

No fu*cking way. Maybe 1.5 million for the General Lee at least that car would be a nice collecter car. People would know what they were seeing, and you would realy be able to piss the tree hugging liberals off. Between the motor and the paint job you could have eveybody pissed off. Osama's 300 just looks like another wanabe trying to look like a big time roller, hell I have seen a car load of wetbacks with a car like that.
