about here in mass we have to jump thru a hoop to get our concealed weapons permits and class A fire arms permit but we can walk in buy a pistol and walk out with it because man I hate waiting to play with the new gun.

Congratulations on the gun! A SIG P229 has to be a great gun, and .40 S&W is a great caliber, Keep us posted on which ammo groups the best for you. There are a few bullet weights, and it seems that some guns favor one and some another.

If you got that pissy $250.00 they want it back
off your $800.00 Go figure.
Any way I'm geting $2896.00 what do I do with it?
If I go to Gander she will sulk all year.

Do what I am doing.......buy yourself some toys but be sure to leave some for a nice weekend out of town! I know it's not much but we're going down to Waco to the Texas Ranger Museum, and some other things down there! Hopefully she'll be happy with that as long as she gets to do a little shopping!

I had some pictures of old Rangers that arrested
my grandfathers killer and when Senior Capt
Clint Peoples was killed in a car wreck my wife
made a plaque with a metal plate picture of him
on his white horse and donated it. That may be
in the lobby, it used to be.
We used to have a combination trophy and print
shop in Waxahachie,Tx. I made metal photos out
of printing plates and mounted them on walnut boards

I had to check up on what you meant by tree huggers.
Texas State University bought the park and in 96 closed
it. The old hotel is now a learning center The glass bottom
boat ride is still there.

Damn The park was neat I wanted to go back. I didn't
realize it had been that long ago I was there

Not yet, still trying to schedule a time when we can both go somewhere quiet!! I also saw a Sig Mosquito I want to get for my wife. I looked at the Walther but the guy at the range said they used to rent them but they don't last. For another 35.00 I can buy her a Sig! The best part is, she'll start shooting WITH me instead of me talking to her about it.

Walther is plastic and not very nice compared to the Sig if you had them side by side. Not only that, but the Walther is very small in frame size. I'm sure my wife would like the Sig better.

I was holding one in my hand at the gun shop. When I showed it to her she said "no way". We laughed about it. On the Sig website they have one that is in winter digital camo and she really liked it. Don't know if Kali will let me have one of those or not, who am I kidding NOT! I hate Kali

Wife wanted a 22 so i got her a P-22 from J&G in Prescott, loved it so much i got one for myself.. thier like our only autos now..and just flat great.. my first ever "rail" and got a little sure fire llite for it, (burnt out batt) ..Telling you the best and most accuate little 22 ive ever owned, the only issue with mine is it doesnt like lead bullets so i have to "upgrade" and go with jacketed 22's.. should anyway, but brother brought me a brick of army 22's from runs joint, and they just wont work in the Walther..

So does my Glock

And the Glock is the gun of choice for gansta rappers. Hah! What does Sig have to brag about? Gun of choice for CID? At least rappers' guns get warm, nigga. Sorry, I went back to my roots for a second there. Whew. Good thing I already finished that fotie of OE, or I'd be in that mode for a while. Sorry. So anyway, Nimrod has dirt, huh?

Oh. Yeah, me too

I went to Staples and they convinced me to go to Staples for vacation. Spent more on swivel chairs and toner cartridges than I would have on a Disneyland trip. Sneaky, red-shirted bastards.

new to me.I believe you mean copper washed, which is just a harder lead dipped and rinsed in a copper bath and since lead melts at a lower temp than copper the lead that is used is of a harder type.when the ammo makers copper coat lead they use a harder grade lead than the standard lead used in 22 ammo.proved it with a Brinnel tester.anyone know what a Brinnel Tester is?LMAO...
