As you are all now well aware we have a new president. The tide has turned and the times they are a changing. If I were you I would go to my nearest gun dealer and buy as many weapons as I could carry, then go back for more. Good luck and God bless you and yours. just remember this. the constitution is much bigger than any president. i do believe that our second ammendment is as strong as ever.there are allot more things Obama has to worry about.Economy ,war,and gaining America's trust.but i am gonna buty some more guns anyways.

im buying guns cause i like them. i just don't think we have anything to worry about as far as our constitutional rights. especially the 2nd ammendment. like Demo said , im being positive. I think we have way more pressing problems to deal with.thats my opinion. im not fooling myself.

MY point is that when any government tells it's citizens that national security is more important than your personal right to own and carry any firearm, you will become a victim of your own stupidity. I hope my spelling is correct. We need a spell check on this website.

I am right along with you. Some people are just a little to paranoid.
I did however buy my 4 guns in the last 3 months but not because of the elections but because the stock market dropped 777 points in one day.
That was unheard of until we realized in the last month and a half or
so that was nothing. It got alot worse after that. We have so far lost over 4000 points. But the first thing that came to my mind was luding.
Because I really thought that our financial system was going to crash.
Well I have calmed down by now but Im certainly not going to get rid of
my guns. I have over $3,000 invested in my guns and I am not about to give them up. And if the Government ever does try to take away our
weapons, they better have a check for 3 grand or more with my name on it. And they better be prepared to buy all my ammo as well which is
about another $1500. RELAX.

Now on to more serious things....our GUNS!! In my cross country travels this summer I found out that people are buying guns and clips at an amazing rate. In Tennessee I could not find any clips for my semi-autos or my sniper rifles. Gun store owners told me "Good Luck"!! Texas..."Good Luck"! Missouri.."Good Luck!! and so on......that's scary! I don't know bout you but I'm going to Nevada and Arizona next week. Don't hesitate...they are coming!!

My local gun dealer here in Richmond, Virginia was one of the lucky few suied by Mr. Bloomberg from NYC. Come to find out the whole thing was just a publicity stunt intended to convince the citizens of NYC that he, [Mr. Bloomberg], was doing something about gun control. My gun dealer always followed the law to the letter and ended up being the real victim of the law suit. What is really funny here is that my dealer can't keep the hand guns in stock. It seems everybody want's to buy one now.

I think well be ok, because there are lot more pressing issues and at the rate congress gets things done we should be ok for two years and then hopefully we will get some more gun friendly ppl in there.

ebear, you are correct that the 2nd amendment is bigger than any president, but look what the clinton white house did to curtail the rights we exercise with the Bill of Rights.
I bring this up because, Obama is appointing many of the clintonian delegates to his cabinet. I think it is okay for us to project what could happen based on the history of the people that are being appointed.
I wish I was as well off as most of you here on the boards. I would like nothing more than to go and spend some cash on firearms. I think it is a good idea. But in this part of my lifetime, firearms are a luxury. It is that George Bush feller and his democrat approved ecomonic package. Damn them!!

This guy is no different than the rest. He was put into power by the power brokers to further THEIR agenda, not those of us citizens. This one may be more sinister because he has some really awful friends. I asked what change before the numb-nuts elected him. We have to get these people where it hurts, in the pocketbook. Don't buy their products or services. Make note of the advertisers on the Major Media, write the Sponsors a letter and tell them, "We won't buy what you are selling, while you advertise on the major media" What else can we do?
