double standard

If you are going to post a favorable opinion on any gun, you should let us post equal opposite opinions. This is a first ammendment right. If you are going to fight for the second ammendment you can't leap frog the first. There are men and women fighting over seas for our freedoms, Lets not forget that.

Glocks

I think Glocks are fine. I hear they are
very functional. I don't own one, never
will but you can own all of them you want.
That's the American way.

Yea, it wasn't a pretty thread. I like Glocks , but, they aren't perfect. And besides, I agree with ebear, everybody has a right to have their opinion and express it. My comments got erased too, but I think the entire thread was erased.

Wheel gun

I grew up with the wheel gun. I think autos
are fine in combat but I still think the
wheel gun is more accurate because the
shooter takes more time to aim. I do own
a Colt Gold Cup Match and shoot it some
times but mostly my Ruger 22 or my Taurus 357.
I have retired the Ruger 44 mag because I
would nead a loan to buy ammo.

Hey Guy, fill a 5 gallon bucket full
of water and shoot it with a 44 mag
and watch the bucket get empty and
water 15 feet in the air. That's shock
power.

i would HIGHLY reccomend the speedloader for anyone who has a semi=auto pistol.they'er about 26.00 bucks and make range shooting more about shooting and less time loading. I would tell all gunslot members to put it on thier x-mAS LISTS. sAM d TURNED ME ON TO IT AND ITS GREAT,And as far as your strong hands. you pretty much keep working it after you get married too....lol

Everytime we did qualifing with the Dept. that was like the one thing i made sure we had.. never a problem till we changed over to Glocks.(obviously same with all autos) .. The Women Correction Officers, and they were good troops, but after a while your thumb starts to hurt no matter who you are. Anyway it was hard on the women, and in the intrest of time it was one of those, everybody kick in things so we can all get done things. The Glock tool works great, Don't think i would spend the money for just one person, but then im REAL cheap..

but that's besides the point I guess. No, the heavens don't open up, no choirs singing the Austrian National Anthem when you shoot a Glock. They're ugly. They're plastic. They're reliable. They're accurate. If you know how to shoot. I'll leave the pretty guns to the gangbangers who like chrome on their gats and feets on their whips. As for sam deleting things, he's former air force who now actually has some authority. Almost as dangerous as a lieutenant with a map and compass. That's a military joke. Ebear, I'll explain it during out cuddle time tonight.

Free speech is fine, but that was mostly schoolyard bickering. How silly. I like Glock but I like all guns except some of the cheap ass autos that can be dangerous to the shooter and not reliable. Anyway, I did it and I am glad I did. I wish I didn't have to do it, but sometimes dad has to call a time out. Oh well, "Joke em if they can't take a fuck"

Good Ole Days

When your grandkids come up and ask you
to buy them an IPod or a Cell Phone the
fun is telling them how you grew up not
even having a TV and lucky to have a 6
transister radio. Man we were hot stuff
when the 9 transister came out.
I remember straping a transister radio
on my bycycle at 16. Got my 1st car out of
a wrecking yard and rebuilt it. I wish I
had it today. It was a 1954 Ford Sun Liner
It had a glass bubble top.
We was poor folk, my dad worked 2 jobs all
his life just to get by on a 3rd grade
education but I don't have any gripes.
It made us realize the value of a dollar.
Darn the dollar has no value anymore.

Granted, yours is every day, but when I was a young infantry private, I'd wake up the morning after a 25-mile ruck march and have to massage my knees to get them to unlock so I could stand up. Not the same, but close.

I am a bit of a lazy ass. My body is ready to go butt-crack early, but I don't want to get out of bed before 8. I wonder when the mind and body switch places? I guess you old-timers realize you don't have much time left, so your mind wants to take advantage of it, but your body is ready for the Big Sleep huh? Heh heh heh.

I hate life, greg

I was living in a 4 br house on 4 acres in the middle of the mesquite a hard spit from Mexico, but we had to go and move into a 3 br apartment here in town because the other lace was too far from work and the AC couldn't keep up with the 2300 sq ft house in the summer. I hate living in town, I hate living in an apartment, I hate being around people, I hate it here. I'm looking at a house right on SR 92, I just have to decide whether I'm retiring here to AZ or if I want to go back to KS. God, I miss the fishing in KS. People say there's fishing spots here, but there were 22 stocked lakes on Ft Riley alone. as for my cuddle time with ebear, it's become a source of contention between my father and I, as ebear left my dad for me. My wife doesn't really like it, but I'm only with her for the money. Sarcasm doesn't really translate well on a computer.

It is only against the law to shoot closer than a 1/4 mile to an occupied residence if you are hunting. But of course if you lived in the City Limits of Palominos and they had a law against it, that's another story.
Is Palominos and Incorporated city?

It doesn't have a post office and it has only a volunteer fire dept, so I don't think so. Either way, I'm in town now, hating life. I'll look up the ARS when I go into work today to see what it says.

I found the ARS, sam

ARS 13-3107 UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS
Sec A: "A person who with criminal negligence discharges a firearm within or into the limits of any municipality is guilty of a Class 6 felony".

Sec C.8 gives an exception if you are more than one mile of an occupied structure

Sec D.1: "Municipality" means any city or town and includes any property that is fully enclosed within the city or town

Based on this, I just needed to figure out whether my place was in Palominas limits. The ARS doesn't say it has to be an incorporated town, so I think Palominas counts as a municiplaity. Although, looking at the definition of "Criminal Negligence" (Too long for me to bother typing), as long as I didn't actually endanger anyone or hurt anyone, I don't think the law applies.
