I have heard bad things about their chrome lining process, but I'm not too worried about that. My plan is to buy the LR308AP4, which is the 308 M4. I'll put the rail system, take my Aimpoint off the Bushmaster, and paint it up so I have a beefy M4, but I'm also going to buy the 24" fluted, free floating barrel upper. I'll add a rail to that along with a good Leupold scope so by pushing two pins I can go from carbine to precision rifle. And then I'm gonna kill some goddamn deer, hogs, mexicans, coyotes, mexican coyotes, mexican deer, and mexicans. Huh?
And they made me the Equal Opportunity guy in my company. Dumbasses.

Distance depends on different things, but you could probably be sure that it will out shoot almost all people at any distance.
