Drawing from concealment
I practice this once a month at the range....Should I pratice more? "Two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I feel. One is the colors that fly high and proud the red the white the blue. The other ones got a rattlesnake with a simple statement made, Don’t Tread On Me is what it says" |

of course you can never get to much practice

Practice makes perfect. The more you do it the less likley you will slip up when you accualy have to use it.

Dont practice till you get it right, practice till you cant get it wrong.

of going to the range, you should consider "DRY PRACTICE", which can be done safely, every day, at home.

I agree. Practice dry firing (make sure your gun is safe) at least several times per week.

On where to information on conducting dry practice exercises?

you can practice at home besides at the gun range. I practice at home all the time.

I practice drawing from concealment daily at home, and every time I get ready to leave the house, I draw 10 times with the outfit I have on, even though my style of dress doesn't change that much from day to day. Practicing at home can also show flaws in your setup that you don't want to find out about when it's real. For instance, I found that when carrying my Glock in my Galco paddle holster under a t-shirt, sometimes the t-shirt would snag on the bottom of the holster. I also tried small of the back carry, and it is terrible with a closed front garment like zipped up jacket or t-shirt. You should definitely practice it more than once a month.

until drawing your gun is as quick and natural as pulling out your wallet, practice away

The best and cheapest way to conceal any weapon is with a folded news paper.
No one would normally suspect a person walking around with a founded new paper to be armed and dangerous ready to defense him, or herself.
runawaygun762
That is ridiculous. Have your gun in the newspaper, and when a mugger clocks you in the back of the head, your gun goes flying. Fuck, Mexican carry is a better idea thatn that. You watch too much TV. I'm not going to resort to name calling, but with all due respect, I think you might be mentally retarded. "BUT I SAID WITH ALL DUE RESPECT"!!! Ah, Ricky Bobby is God.

what if you walked around in a Batman costume??? Nobody would fuck with you....and you could carry C-4 in your utility belt.
